Architect/Gather — I began by researching the topic and outlining the key areas to address in the course. Collaborating closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), I refined the outline using Mind Manager to create a comprehensive mind map. This visual framework organized the course into modules, lessons, resources, and critical content areas, ensuring alignment between learning objectives and technical requirements. In addition to content planning, I managed project timelines and coordinated with all stakeholders to keep the project on track and aligned with deadlines.
Design — Using the mind map as a foundation, I developed a detailed course plan including course elements such as page layout, knowledge checks, quizzes, and multimedia needs/assets (scripts, storyline interactions, narration). I worked closely with SMEs to validate technical accuracy and instructional flow. As part of my project management responsibilities, I coordinated review cycles with SMEs globally to ensure design decisions and the content being developed was technically accurate and aligned with learner needs.
Develop — In the development phase, I brought the course plan to life in Articulate Rise. Verified content was transformed into interactions using Articulate Storyline, which was embedded within the Rise course. All custom assets and video were created using Adobe Suite, with the help of the media team, and audio narration was generated using WellSaid Labs. Throughout the development, I managed cross-time-zone communications to ensure SMEs could review content efficiently, keeping the project on schedule without compromising quality.
Evaluation — Learner participation was closely monitored through PowerBI dashboards, in partnership with the Learning Experience team who manages our LMS. Feedback from learners and SMEs informed refinements to the course, ensuring the content remained accurate, engaging, and effective.
